Launch Strengthens Western Union Agent Network in Mexico, Makes
Receiving Money Even More Convenient for Consumers

The Western
Union Company (NYSE: WU), a leader in global payment services, and
Farmacias Guadalajara today launched Western Union® global
money-transfer services at more than 1,100 drugstore and
retail locations throughout Mexico.
Now, people living throughout the country have even more options from
which to receive the support they need: They can visit any of these
locations and pick up money sent from their family and friends
throughout the world.

According to the World Bank, Mexico ranks fourth on the list of top
worldwide recipients of remittances for 2013, receiving an estimated
US$22 billion annually.
