Industry-leading cards recognized for low fees, innovative features

Beginning this week, two industry-leading Western Union prepaid cards
will be available at more than 7,400 Family Dollar locations in 45
states.
Western Union (NYSE: WU) and Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) are
now offering the award-winning Western Union® Gold Card MasterCard and
the Western Union® Telemundo MasterCard at Family Dollar stores
throughout the U.S. Western Union and Telemundo created the co-branded
card to better serve Hispanic consumers, the fastest- growing consumer
segment in the U.S.

Both of the cards can be used anywhere debit MasterCard is accepted,
including at ATMs and for online shopping. Cardholders can “top up” or
reload their cards four ways:

At more than 60,000 retail locations, including Family Dollar stores
and 46,000 Western Union Agent locations throughout the U.S.

Via payroll or government benefits direct deposit;

Directing a Western Union Money Transfer® directly onto the card;

Transferring money to the card from a bank account.

PayBefore Awards in the last two years, including best overall GPR
program (Western Union® MoneyWise Prepaid MasterCard) and best consumer
value (Western Union Gold Card Prepaid MasterCard) in 2012.
