Local artists and performers joined Pitbull to reinvent the space, located at Henderson Park and give it a facelift. Pitbull’s Western Union World of Betters event was the last of five celebrity Better acts. Pitbull joins international recording artists Alicia Keys, Sunidhi Chauhan, K’naan, John Legend and Ayo to complete the Western Union World of Betters, a global contest which asked consumers how they would make the world a better place.

“It’s exciting that Western Union World of Betters created this great community center in Miami where everyone can perform and make music together,” says Pitbull. “Now my hometown fans will have a chance to express themselves, have fun and show the world what it is to be creative 305 style! Dale!!!”

Victoria López-Negrete, senior vice president and general manager, North America, Western Union, says, “The final Western Union World of Betters act has capped off a great worldwide program that launched Nov. 1 and demonstrated how Moving Money for Better to improve someone’s day, for the holidays and for any occasion can have an outstanding impact on a community.”

Throughout the Western Union World of Betters contest, Alicia Keys, Sunidhi Chauhan, K’naan, John Legend and Ayo joined forces to broaden the campaign’s reach.
